– My story

A passionate swimming coach from California.

My name is Alberto, I am a USA Swimming Coach and tech employee in the San Francisco Bay Area. I currently coach senior elite swimmers for the De Anza Cupertino Aquatics club in Cupertino, California.

I think I don’t remember a period of my life where I was far from a swimming pool. My mother signed me up to a swim club when I was 5 years old because I was asthmatic and it was recommended by my pediatric doctor. Since then, I have been swimming my entire life.
